Here are some wonderful clients I received via word of mouth! (So far it's been the best marketing tool for me out there!) Linda, Tyrel, and their baby girl Chelsie were such a pleasant family to photograph at Fort Steilacoom Park this early fall. I haven't photographed many newborns, but the times I have, I haven't been all that lucky with the perfect baby who wants to sleep and smile! ;) But this time around I was SUPER lucky with baby Chelsie, who looked at the camera during family photos and even slept for a little while so I could capture her sweet little face. I hope to watch this family grow over the years and wish them the best of luck with their newest addition!

Pre Wedding Bridal Party photo shoot
I've known Mariko for just over a decade. And I've known Jacob for almost just as long. I've seen them both grow in so many ways in just the past 10 years and seen the many ups and downs of their relationship along the way that have brought them to be the beautiful people they are, inside and out. One of my favorite memories of Jacob is when I went to a haunted house at the Super Mall in Auburn, and I see him standing outside at the end, turns out he was that scary guy at the end with the chainsaw! I got a total kick out of that. He was such a wangster back in the day, it makes that story that much funnier! ;)
And I have way too many fun memories of Mariko! One of my more recent favorites was when she came camping with me in the San Jaun Islands. Mariko is one of those friends that you could only wish you were so lucky to have! She's so sweet and kindhearted and would do anything she could for someone she truly cared about. I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful friend like her in my life!
After taking Mariko and Jacob's engagement photos, they asked if I would take some photos of their bridal party for their wedding website. A pre-wedding bridal party shoot?! What a great idea!
I love the idea of getting together with all your best friends and just being silly in front of the camera.
I can't wait until these two tie the knot next August and I get to spend another day with all these super fun people!

Ehrlich Wedding 9.14.13
If you don't already know, I grew up in eastern Washington in a town called Cle Elum. The neighboring town is called Roslyn. Our high school was called Cle Elum-Roslyn, so as you can probably tell by now, the towns are both pretty small!
I graduated in a class of 56 students, and so it was easy to learn almost everyone in the school's name by the time you were a senior. Melanie happened to be in the grade below me. I didn't know a whole lot about her, other than she loved to snowboard! She worked up at Snoqualmie Pass so I'd often see her when I'd make my trips up there to snowboard myself.
After high school, along came Facebook. I friended Melanie and watched her live this awesome life I was envious of in Montana. I loved seeing all her photos of Glacier National Park, and wished I could be living that life! Anyways, almost 10 years later of not seeing Melanie in person, I receive a message from her inquiring for photography for her wedding in Roslyn. Of course I was so excited! People I know AND it's in my hometown?! Two of my favorite ingredients of a wedding. :)
This was one of my favorite weddings thus far. Everyone involved was so funny and relaxed in front of the camera, I loved it. The wedding was held at Stonehouse 101, a sweet venue that I never even knew existed! It's so quietly tucked in the heart of Roslyn, just a block away from The Brick and across the street from the Roslyn Cafe!
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them! The bride and groom were so wonderful the entire day and helped make my "job" feel like a walk in the park!
Congratulations Melanie and Brandon!
